I am the instructor for ArtCore, a program that is very unique. It encourages children to explore art beyond drawing, paintings, etc into field such as video art, performance art, music, sculpture, etc.
At the end of the program, we put all of these different fields together into a final presentation.

I am also a painter and video artist. It is difficult to make art and teach it in this economy and I may have to give it up soon so I can pay off my student loans. I live and breath art and giving less and less time to it has become a reality.

Going to Meetings

My "husband" *wife ;)* and I have been going to a gender outreach meeting every week and it has been wonderful for us. Everyone there is so nice and warm. There are people there from various age groups and situations. We just discuss various issues and such that have to do with life as a trans person. I honestly have never seen anything "wrong" with being transgender or transsexual or whatever. I do not look at these people are "sick" or anything remotely close to that and I really cannot understand how anyone can. They are just people trying to live their lives as happily as they can. So be more understanding and open your heart and mind; spread love and support.
